What the numbers mean
A number in TruckDesk has one name, and that name means the same math wherever you see it: the Dashboard, a load, a driver’s statement, the PDF, the phone and Reports. This page is the full list.
Two dates do most of the work. A load belongs to the day it was delivered: that day decides its pay week, the rate it is priced on and the month its revenue lands in. A driver’s statement belongs to its pay period.
Loads and revenue
- Booked. Loads entered and not yet picked up, right now: the backlog. Dollar value + count. Counted as: Σ load gross, stage Booked or Dispatched. Dated by: Right now (no period).

Rules that hold everywhere
- Time zone. Every "today", week, month, quarter and due date uses the company's time zone. Never the server clock.
- Selected period. Dashboard: fixed to the current pay week for now, no picker (D4). Reports: the date range picker.
- Rounding. Round to the cent after every step. Percentages show as whole numbers.
- No denominator. A ratio with nothing to divide by shows "-", never 0%.
- Money direction. Charges are money out; refunds, rebates and credits are money in. Card payments and transfers between the company's own accounts are moving money, never counted.
- Load stages. Booked = stage Booked or Dispatched. In Transit = stage Partly picked up, In transit or Partly delivered. Delivered = stage Delivered. Invoiced and paid are separate facts, not stages.
- Late. A load not yet delivered whose Scheduled Delivery is before today.
- Due today. A load not yet delivered whose Scheduled Delivery is today.
- One name, one formula. A term means the same math on every page, PDF, app screen and agent answer.
